Sizing a swimwear line is a development process, not a lookup table. We work with your brand from body measurements to fit approval to build a size range your market can trust.
Three connected stages that take a swimwear line from raw measurements to a production-ready size set.
We start from the core body measurements every swimwear fit is built on — bust, waist, and hip. These give your development team a consistent reference point before any sizing decision is made.
Sizing is developed around your brand’s target market, silhouette, and fabric stretch. We build size ranges and grading rules that match how you actually sell, rather than relying on a generic conversion table.
Measurements, fit, and grading are confirmed on physical samples and signed off during fit approval. Only then does the approved size set move into bulk production.
A general measuring reference for buyers. These are universal starting points — for production, garment measurements are taken flat on the sample and confirmed against the tech pack.
Measure around the fullest part of the bust, keeping the tape parallel to the floor and comfortably loose — a common reference for top sizing.
Measure around the natural waistline, the narrowest part of the torso. Keep one finger between the tape and the body — a common reference for bottoms.
Measure around the fullest part of the hips, approximately 8 inches below the waist, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
